Michael Oher On The Blind Side
By Bmore Fab • December 30th, 2009
Last night ABC News 20/20 featured the story of Michael Oher, where he discussed a troubled past, how he got to where he is today, and his thoughts about the movie based on his life, “The Blind Side.” The special segment was hosted by Deborah Roberts, drawing in a total of almost 8 million viewers.
I have to admit before I saw the interview I had no intrest in seeing the movie because it all just seemed so sterotypical. A young black man grows up in a bad area, a nice white man/woman (cue Sandra Bullock) comes to save him and changes his life. It all sounded way too familiar to me. However, Michael Oher changed my mind last night when he basically said that color has no boundary, and neither does money, at the end of the day if someone is helping a person who needs it, then that’s all that matters. He’s absolutely right.

Each article I have read is very well written and to the point. I would also like to say, not only are the posts well written, but the design of your web-site is excellent. It was easy to navigate from article to article and locate what I was looking for with ease. Keep up the excellent work you are doing, and I will return many times in the future.
